Doing a Happy Dance

I just registered for Creating Keepsakes Convention. Although I haven’t been scrapbooking at all lately, going is a bit of a tradition for me. I’ve gone for the past several years now. I never have managed to get any scrapbooking friends to go with me so I always go alone but that really lets me immerse myself in what I’m there for… creativity, relaxation and new experiences. At one convention I was introduced to the “Twilight” book series before it came super popular as well as my beloved ATG 714 tape runner.

I always try to “volunteer” a shift or two there. That gives some extra money to spend at the store as well as discounts on shirts and such.
I’m also pretty excited that it’s now in Lancaster… the drive there alone lifts my spirits. Although it will put a wrench in part of my tradition, grabbing lunch or dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, I’m sure I’ll manage to find some other yummy place up there.
Anyway, if you happen to scrapbook and live in the area and are reading this blog… I highly encourage you to make plans to check it out! I’ll be the lonely, creative and super relaxed girl walking around with my ATG sticking out of my bag ;)
