Mint Condition

I don’t know about you, but when I first saw the color “mint” creeping its way into the aisles of all my favorite stores I knew it was going to be one of the “it” colors of the season. I even told my twenty year-old daughter so. I said, “Chelsea, see this color- It’s gonna be the next big thing.” I’m pretty sure we made some joke about it being a color you would find one of the Golden Girls wearing. And honestly, I’m pretty sure I had some wardrobe pieces that color in the eighties as well. But I confess, after seeing so many beautiful things bathed in mint, I am in love with this color all over again.

There are so many ways to incorporate mint into your Spring wardrobe. You can hint at it with accessories or jump right in with a mint dress but whatever you do don’t miss out on this color. These are a few pieces from Target that stood out as favorites to me:

  1. I have an obsession with mint! I love it all but my favorite is the mint and coral necklace. I’m already ready for spring and seeing that this color will still be as hot as last year is exciting!

  2. Thanks for your nice comment on HT Therese! I love MINT! Not only to eat, but my prom dress in 1985 was mint. It was so pretty. Wish I would have saves it. It had very plain lines and classic feel. Anyhow…nice to mint you girl! lol
